Events at Musée de La Poste (Paris)

Combining history, ethnology and contemporary art, the Musée de La Poste’s new exhibition entitled “News from Paradise” invites everyone to discover the postcard in a dazzling double-sided journey. During the afternoon of World Postcard Day (October 1st), attendants will be present throughout the exhibition, to help visitors discover all the richness of the postcard’s universe.

On September 30, the museum invites children between 3 and 7 years old to participate on a special guided tour, sprinkled with numerous activities including storytelling, music, dancing and poetry.

On October 1st, a workshop will allow children to discover the (photo)graphic codes of postcards in the “News from Paradise” exhibition. And they’ll be able to create their own postcard, after being introduced to photography.
