On the occasion of World Postcard Day, Slovenská pošta will issue a pictorial postcard card with a Postal museum motif. Each visitor to the Postal museum in Banská Bystrica will receive it as a gift and can immediately write and send it from the museum.

Postcard exhibition, workshop and meetup in Trbovlje

The Trbovlje Philatelic Society and the Cultural Institute Delavski dom Trbovlj will organize a exhibition of postcards, which will open on October 1st. It will be on display at the Cultural Institute Delavski dom Trbovlje. On the last day, the 12th, there will also take place a Postcrossing meetup.

During the the exhibition, a youth workshop named "Send me a postcard!" will be held in cooperation with Trbovlje Kindergarten and Trbovlje Elementary School. The Society will distribute 300 postcards among young up-and-comers for the workshop and Pošta Slovenije will contribute a postage stamps for these postcards. After viewing the Exhibition of Postcards, the children will visit the post office 1420 Trbovlje at the end of the workshop, where they will also get a special cancellations of the exhibition printed on the submitted postcards.
